Clearance Warnings

  • Warning: Retracted jack foot proximity to the overhead crossbeam and crossbeam end plate under some RVs. 
  • Clearance Check: 2” to the side and ¾” from the top edges of the jack feet to anything in close proximity is advised for both front and rear jack feet.
  • Notes: Proximity to the crossbeam can be often be alleviated by turning an installed SnapPad’s wide channel openings to line up with the beam.
  • Look to see if the top edge of the foot is resting beside the end of the beam, or if there is a wider metal end plate attached to the end of the beam that would impede this solution.
